About the Job

This is a varied and hands-on finance role supporting both operational finance processes and budgetary activities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the new addition to the team will play a key role in managing the Purchase to Pay cycle and supporting financial reporting and systems.

Duties
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
  • Analysing income and expenditure data to assist with accurate financial forecasting
  • Supporting budget holders with understanding and managing their budgets
  • Preparing and collating data for both statutory and non-statutory financial returns
  • Maintaining supplier data and processing invoices in line with financial regulations
  • Supporting budget planning and providing financial input to various projects
  • Performing daily administrative tasks within the SAP finance system
  • Contributing to improvements in financial systems and reporting capabilities
  • Keeping financial procedures and key information up to date and accurate
About the Successful Applicant

You will have GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths and ideally be studying towards AAT or a similar qualification. With experience in finance functions, including reconciliations and financial reporting, you’ll bring excellent Excel and SAP skills. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are key, along with a collaborative and flexible approach to work.
