Job description

Manufacturing Group based in Gosport, Hampshire, has a newly created opportunity for a Finance Manager to undertake the day to day management of the finance department and responsibility for the production of the statutory reporting for the business.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?
  • Undertake full ownership of the balance sheet ensuring accuracy and integrity is maintained throughout;
  • Assist with the production of the annual statutory accounts and act as main point of contact to external auditors;
  • Preparation of statutory returns including VAT and P11D submissions;
  • Support the preparation of the annual budget including liaising with key non-finance stakeholders;
  • Management of the finance team including conducting monthly 1‑2‑1’s and ensuring the continual development of each individual.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy
  • Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification but strong qualified by experience candidates with the relevant skill set will also be considered;
  • Previous experience of undertaking a similar position and strong staff management skills will be essential to undertake the role successfully.
