Location: Hampshire

Type: Permanent

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 Per Annum (plus benefits)

Our client is a global business committed to sustainability. Due to growth, they seek a Finance Manager to work closely with the Finance Director, providing detailed financial information and reporting to support strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager will oversee cash flow, transactional processing, and all day-to-day accounting and financial management.

Responsibilities:

1. Month-End Closing: Oversee and manage the month-end closing process for Europe/Spain and USA entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly reporting pack, SG AP control account, Hedge Status report, Inventory aging report, MTM report, etc.).
2. Statutory Reporting: Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
3. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage tax audits, and R&D tax return claims.
4. Audit Management: Support coordination of J-Sox, internal, and external audits, ensuring requirements are met and findings addressed.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
6. Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records in SAP and perform timely balance sheet reconciliations.
7. Journal Approvals: Approve journal entries, including prepayments, accruals, and depreciation.
8. Tax and Reporting: Oversee VAT submissions and intercompany purchase invoices to ensure compliance.
9. Financial Management: Manage daily accounting operations for the business.
10. Currency Hedging: Buy FX hedge funds to pay the head office in Singapore.
11. Invoicing Control: Maintain the invoicing control report feeding into the sales ledger for head office submission.
12. Payroll: Approve payroll via HSBC portal, prepare payroll reports, and post payroll journals in SAP, including bonus and contractor accruals.

A salary of £65,000-£70,000 is offered plus benefits.
