About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and proactive Finance Lead to provide exceptional financial business partnering support and expertise to our Account/Portfolio (Finance Contract Manager and their operational teams). You will be a key contributor, delivering added-value financial analysis and insightful input to help drive operational excellence and achieve financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Support & Analysis:

  • Provide direct financial support and expertise to assigned accounts.
  • Compile annual budgets & quarterly forecasts.
  • Prepare month-end flash reports and ensure P&L accuracy.
  • Deliver value-added financial commentary for regular reports.
  • Implement baseline and savings tracking reporting and analysis.
  • Identify and support the implementation of savings opportunities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.

Compliance & Quality:

  • Ensure adherence to finance procedures.
  • Support seamless contract management across multiple regions.
  • Share best practices and promote innovation.
  • Meet and exceed client expectations.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Liaise effectively with Contract Support teams.
  • Influence decisions and be a culture and behaviour carrier.
Experience
  • Experience delivering financial information within tight deadlines.
  • Reporting in a complex multi-country, multi-divisional, service business (Industry experience) including financial planning and contracts management.
  • Experience providing senior management with financial results and analysis.
  • Experience with complex financial and operational information systems.
  • Focus on strong focus on customer service
  • Previous experience of a customer-facing role using operating systems such as Dynamics AX or Concept software along with financial / accounting experience would be an advantage (desirable)
  • Presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and results to senior stakeholders (desirable)
Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Higher educational qualifications to ‘A’ level or degree (or equivalent)
  • Accounting Qualification: Part qualified or qualified CCAB accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) (desirable)

Technical Skills:

  • Excellent PC skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel (lookups, pivots essential), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Organized, proactive, and adaptable to new ways of working.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent organizational skills.
