Overview

Due to an internal secondment, we have an opportunity in our Bettys Finance team and we are looking for a Finance Business Partner (Trading) to join us for 15 months, at Bettys Bakery where we support all areas of Bettys including Branches, Cookery School, Craft Bakery and Support functions.

As a Finance Business Partner (Trading) you will be responsible for partnering all trading areas (all Bettys Branches, Bettys eCommerce and Cookery School) driving strong business performance by providing insightful and collaborative commercial decision support, whilst ensuring that management information is accurate and reflects the performance of the business. You will influence through analysis, modelling and scenario planning for promotional analysis, discounts and profitability; lead on labour understanding and reporting to aid the management in Branches and contribute to the delivery of robust monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts through analysis and insightful support, ensuring variances are challenged and understood. About you
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
  • Strong communication (cross-functional and across varying levels of financial awareness)
  • Excellent numerical reasoning
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and information and make decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience of IFS
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to challenge and influence decisions with financial information
  • Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems and overcome difficulties
