Job description

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the Taylors of Harrogate Finance team and play a key role in guiding our financial decisions. This role is a 15-month temporary contract.

Reporting to Taylors Financial Controller, as Finance Business Partner (Forecasting) you'll be at the heart of our financial planning process - turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that help us make confident choices for the future.

You'll co‑coordinate the creation of 24 month forecasts, shape the Support Review step of our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, and work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure decisions are grounded in robust financial understanding.

If you're a qualified accountant who enjoys collaborating and loves turning numbers into meaningful insights, this could be the perfect opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Support Review, preparing and sharing a clear 24‑month P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Creating and developing the monthly IBP Finance Pack, giving stakeholders the clarity they need to make confident decisions.
  • Delivering accurate Cashflow Forecasts and variance analysis, with commentary that brings the numbers to life.
  • Driving continuous improvement in our IBP processes and championing Pigment as our go‑to forecasting tool.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure robust inputs into both the IBP process and Cashflow Forecast.
  • Building Pigment (Financial Planning software) modelling skills, working alongside existing Pigment modellers.
What we're looking for
  • A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Someone who's comfortable analysing complex data and making it simple for others to understand.
  • A confident communicator who can build strong relationships and influence decisions.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Pigment or similar tools is a bonus.
  • A collaborative problem‑solver with an eye for detail and a passion for improvement.

This is advertised as a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week, however if you would like to discuss flexible working or alternate working patterns, please provide more details in your application.

What we offer you

As a minimum, all our employees receive free meals, drinks and snacks while at work, a discretionary quarterly profit‑share bonus, holiday allowance with the option to buy and (in some cases) sell additional days, company‑wide employee discounts, access to our health cash plan, wellbeing support, company funded counselling, and enrolment in the company pension.

We also offer a range of development opportunities no matter your role and ambitions. We encourage everyone to explore what makes them the best version of themselves, and we do this through external training programmes, apprenticeships and internal 1:1 coaching schemes.
