Overview

NXTGEN are pleased to be working with a growing organisation in Norwich who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to strengthen their evolving finance team. The Finance Business Partner will report directly to the Head of Finance and will take ownership of financial support for specific business units. Acting as the link between finance and operations, you will provide meaningful insight and guidance to senior leaders, ensuring financial performance is maximised and future growth is supported.

Key responsibilities
  • Partnering with directors and senior managers, providing financial advice to influence decision-making.
  • Delivering insightful analysis on business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with the wider finance function.
  • Highlighting risks and ensuring financial implications are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Presenting financial information in an accessible way for both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Supporting commercial projects across multiple business areas.
  • Working both independently and as part of a highly skilled finance team.
Requirements / Qualifications

To be successful in this Finance Business Partner role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience in a commercial finance environment where business partnering has been a key focus. You will be confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences. Strong communication skills, a proactive and solutions-driven mindset, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team are all essential.
