A local recruiting firm in Wilmslow is seeking a Finance Assistant to handle accounts payable, reconciliation, and provide HR support. This is a great opportunity to use your finance experience as well as gaining exposure to the world of HR, giving you loads of variety! Previous HR admin experience isn't essential as full training will be given.

Benefits
  • Salary: £25,598 - £31,022 per annum
  • 1 day in the office and 4 days WFH - the first couple of months will be office based during training.
  • Hours: 37 hours per week. Core hours are 10:00am - 4:00pm but you can start and finish between 7am + 6pm.
  • Flexi-time - any additional hours worked will be built up and given back in lieu.
  • Holidays: 26 days + bank holidays increasing to 31 after 5 years completed.
  • Pension: 28% employer contribution

Duties of the next Finance Assistant
  • Dealing with accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, including month-end and year-end processes
  • Post cash receipts on QuickBooks and reconcile customer accounts
  • Credit Control
  • Process invoices and expenses
  • Provide HR admin support inc recording sickness and annual leave
  • Ensuring HR records are kept up to date
  • Support and deputise for the Finance Manager as needed
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a finance role with exposure to accounts payable/receivable
  • Highly organised and able to multitask across finance and HR admin responsibilities
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and accounting software
