Band 4 (Band 3 Development Opportunity)
Aim of the role

The post holder will be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust’s Values in their day to day work.

The post holder will be required to provide support to the finance team.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
  • Chasing outstanding debt.
  • Implementing Trust policies and procedures relating to overseas visitor and NCA income.
  • Investigating financial queries and analysing detailed data to identify errors and discrepancies.
  • Attending meetings when needed.
  • Assisting with any other financial or reporting duties as required.
  • Planning own workload to ensure monthly and weekly timescales are met.
  • The post holder will be a member of a large finance team and will be required to work closely with finance and operational colleagues, project groups and other partner organisations, including ICBs, local Authorities and other NHS organisations and stakeholders to support the provision of efficient and effective financial management.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735).
