Compensation

£22,500 to £25,000 (commensurate upon experience) plus benefits.

Position Description

In this important position you will assist senior management in preparing the monthly financial accounts and serve as a liaison with the finance team and the broader business. Your expertise and efforts will be valued by, in particular, the Director of Finance as you apply your experience and energy ensuring organizational adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accounts payable function, including processing invoices (coding, matching, and obtaining approval), addressing supplier queries related to payment issues, and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Handle Salesforce costings requests, collaborating with the sales team, supply chain, and production to gather the necessary information for product costings.
  • Assist in the preparation of month‑end management accounts.
  • Provide backup for the sales ledger function and banking.
  • Offer inter‑departmental support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, paying close attention to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all HR policies and procedures.
  • Support and implement environmental processes and procedures as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed based on role changes and the organization’s business objectives.
Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial organization.
