We have a rare opportunity to join our Finance teams as a Finance Analyst. The position is working Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00 with some flexibility to suit applicants needs. The role requires analysing, monitoring and controlling the financial performance of the business and working closely with management to ensure delivery of site profit and KPI targets.
Responsibilities
- To provide information and analysis to assist the site in challenging and improving performance.
- Manage stock value, provision and risk analysis. Coordinate stock disposals and relevant provisions and charges to P&L.
- Review daily the purchase price variances and challenge where Purchase Orders are incorrect.
- Liaising closely with the department managers and Accounts Payable on Invoice queries.
- Assist with the analysis to compile forecasts and annual budgets.
- To positively promote, implement and maintain safe working practices and a safe working environment in the office. To ensure compliance with company health and safety policy.
- Preparation of daily labour tracker.
- Preparation of distribution tracker.
- Prepare weekly financial performance tracker / Stock tracker.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Part qualification in a recognised accounting qualification / relevant degree.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good data manipulation skills.
- Good communication skills across all levels and functions within the business.
- Strong Excel knowledge and experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food industry.
- Experience of producing and completing weekly and monthly accounts.
