Overview

Reed Finance are partnered with an established leader of aviation based in north Oxford. As Britain's largest space company, they have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a division of their enterprise on a perm basis.

This small and friendly team of five are looking for a systems-driven qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified-by-experience accountant with SAP experience to join them, reporting into the Financial Controller and working alongside other analysts. This role will require the successful candidate to be an SAP key user and will play in important role in future and current bidding processes.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the senior management team to validate the financial integrity of campaigns/offers, following the costing and pricing process
  • Generate project plans and schedules for contract proposals
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasting by incorporating P&L, balance sheet, and cash reviews
  • Continuous updating of forecasting models
  • Monitoring and maintaining of billing milestones of contracts
  • Project reporting in SAP
  • Ad-hoc reporting (including project costs and reports for auditors)
  • Risk management and internal controls
  • Continuous development of financial processes within SAP and continuous updating of SAP functionality
Profile

You will be a proactive and assertive individual who can use their own initiative and think outside the box. You will be highly analytical and apply yourself to tasks with a methodical and structured approach. You will have strong understanding of accounting and risk management principles, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt your approach to different individuals (all levels) in the business.
