Position: Finance Analyst
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary: Dependent on Experience

Overview

My client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join their finance team in Edinburgh. This role is key in delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the business. You'll work closely with colleagues in Finance and other departments to support reporting, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and the development of management information and financial models. This position also involves contributing to regulatory compliance and assisting with a range of financial operations, including payroll and tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare month-end management reports, quarterly reporting packs, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Lead the delivery of scheduled and project-based financial reporting throughout the year.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and management reporting tools.
  • Provide analysis on financial performance across business units, teams, locations, clients, and service areas.
  • Assist with payroll processing and financial reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Support statutory reporting requirements, including tax compliance and VAT reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, including rates, budgets, headcount, and performance metrics.
