Are you a Field Services Manager or similar, from an engineering or technical background or similar, looking to take the next steps in your career into a hands‑off role where you will be managing Field Service Engineers nationwide?

On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer / Manager to join a leading building service consultancy. Established in the 1950s, this not‑for‑profit organisation has become one of the global leaders in building research, testing and development, impacting everyone's lives in some way or another, and setting in place many of the world's, and especially the UK's, standards.

In this role, the successful Field Service Manager would be responsible for managing the fleet of engineers across the UK, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and improving overall efficiency within the team. The role requires implementing new processes as needed, championing a good working culture and ultimately bringing the team to its full potential.

The ideal Field Services Manager would have come from an engineering, building services or consulting background and be comfortable managing in a hands‑off role where there will be a lot of pressure to get the job done properly. Occasional travel nationwide will be fully expensed.
