Overview

Great opportunity to work as a Field Service Engineer for our client - A leading independent supplier of MHE. Staffline is recruiting Field Service Engineers in Avonmouth, Bristol. The rate of pay is £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts and the hours of work are: 8am to 5pm.

Your Time at Work

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our equipment at client sites. Your technical expertise and customer service skills will ensure optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain MHE
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Train customers on proper use and care of equipment.
  • Complete service reports, maintain accurate documentation, and update service databases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (support, engineering, sales) to resolve complex issues.
  • Travel to customer sites across your region - (South West)

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and show the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. You will have strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Requirements
  • A Degree, diploma or NVQ in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering (or related field).
  • Proven experience in a similar field service or technical support role.
  • Your own tools to do the job
  • Valid driver\'s license
