Field Service Engineer – Machine Tools

Compensation and benefits

• £45,000 base + door-to-door pay (OTE £60,000–£65,000)

What you’ll do

• Travel across the UK with some projects in Scandinavia
• Installation, service, and breakdown repair of CNC machine tools
• Mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and repair (with some electrical work)
• Working closely with customers to ensure machines are running to spec
• Occasional overseas travel to Scandinavia

• Experienced in CNC machine tool service or maintenance
• Strong mechanical skillset (70%) with solid electrical knowledge (30%)
• Siemens control experience would be a strong advantage
• Flexible to travel UK-wide (with nights away when needed)

We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading machine tool business, providing specialist support to customers across the UK and occasionally in Scandinavia. This role will suit a service engineer with a strong mechanical background (around 70/30 mechanical-to-electrical split) and proven experience maintaining, installing, and servicing CNC machine tools.
