A leading material handling company seeks a Field Service Engineer (Forklifts) to diagnose and repair machinery at various customer sites in the region. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklift or plant machinery repair, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. Qualifications

  • Experience in forklift or plant machinery repair is essential.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge required.
  • Familiarity with engines and batteries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults on forklifts and plant equipment.
  • Perform servicing and emergency breakdown repairs.
  • Work independently and maintain accurate documentation.

Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary: £35,000-£39,000 (OTE £45,000+) - Paid Door-to-Door

Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 + Overtime (1.5x)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

Join a leading material handling company as a Mobile Forklift Engineer. You'll diagnose faults, service, and repair forklift and plant machinery at customer sites across the region.
