Job summary

A leading utilities company based in the UK is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to support its hire fleet and customer service team. This full-time position involves servicing and calibrating equipment, providing technical support, and delivering training. Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical engineering or mechanics background.
  • Experience in electronics, hydraulics and component fault finding.
  • Level 2 or 3 mechanical or electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing and calibrating fleet equipment, including on-site customer premises.
  • Demonstrating the full range of hire products to customers.
  • Providing regional support for specialist equipment operated from the HQ store.
  • Delivering telephone technical support internally and externally.
  • Attending breakdowns, onsite technical support, training, site audits and customer feedback.
  • Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment across the hire offering.
