• Ability to perform engine diagnostics and possess basic electrical skills.
• Willingness to undergo training for a new industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery.
• Provide reactive breakdown coverage in the geographical area.
• Complete training to become competent on all machinery.

Service Engineer (Field/Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician) – Worksop

Monday to Friday 40 or 45 hour contracts available. Salary: GBP 31,000 – GBP 39,000 starting salary depending on contract chosen.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
• Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
• Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
• Spares placed in van overnight

Requirements

• Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
• Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Willingness to train and transition into a new industry with company support
