Overview

A trusted technical specialist and service provider in the plastics industry that represents a select group of innovative OEMs is seeking a Service Engineer to join their expanding team. They support high-performance injection moulding machinery, robotics, and automation systems across a number of sectors with a strong focus on quality and technical excellence. You will support customers throughout the UK and occasionally Ireland, with all aspects of injection moulding machine service, repair and processing support.

Responsibilities

• Equipment installation, start-up, commissioning and training
• Maintenance of equipment at customers\' premises
• Service administration tasks
• Regular travel during the working week, covering throughout the UK and occasionally Ireland

Requirements / Qualifications

• Working knowledge and understanding of plastic injection moulding machines and automation
• Good working knowledge of Mechanics, Hydraulics and Electrics (electrical qualification would be beneficial, but not necessary)
• Resourceful, with good organisational and time management skills
• Methodical with good attention to detail

Offer

• Basic salary of £40 - 50K, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday with occasional planned weekend work (rare)
• Maximum 10-hour day, including travel time

• Annual Profit Share bonus paid in March
