Overview

Field Service Engineer – Multi-Skilled. This UK-based field role is primarily home-based, within 20 miles of Swindon (west, north, or south). A solid understanding of fundamentals in Electro/Mechanical Engineering is essential.

Location: Swindon area. Salary: £40k DOE, plus overtime & benefits. Company-supplied phone, vehicle, laptop, tools & equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, servicing, moves & changes, upgrades, modifications, and repairs for the company’s customer base as requested.
• Problem-solve in a responsible and methodical manner.
• Be flexible to work within other regions of the UK within the notice period provided.
• Ensure safe working practices in line with Health & Safety Acts.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Previous engineering experience in a related environment.
• Fault-finding / troubleshooting.
• Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical software engineering experience.
• Clean driving licence.
