Rentokil Pest Control - Field Biologist - Liverpool

We currently have an opportunity for a Field Biologist to join our dedicated team at the Haydock branch, covering the Liverpool and surrounding areas. If you have obtained or are close to obtaining your Level 3 RSPH/BPCA qualification and enjoy solving unique customer problems in person, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

In this field-based role, you will provide pest control services to a wide range of customers, using your customer service and problem-solving skills to determine the most effective and appropriate solutions to their individual pest issues. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting premises, plants, and commodities to identify and assess the presence, extent, and origin of pest infestations.
  • Investigating customer premises thoroughly in the event of a serious pest problem.
  • Submitting detailed and accurate reports on infestations and other aspects of pest control on the customer’s premises.
  • Fully discussing the results of all inspections with the customer to ensure they are informed and satisfied.
  • Evaluating the quality of service during an inspection and promptly addressing and rectifying any issues found.
  • Providing estimates for the services our company can offer.
  • Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
  • Completed or close to obtaining your Level 3 RSPH or BPCA
  • It would be advantageous to have a science-based degree but this is not essential
  • Must have worked in a Technician role for a minimum of 1 year
  • Self-motivated and an excellent problem solver
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Up to date knowledge of current legislation
