A leading independent school is seeking a skilled Fencing Coach to support an engaging and safe Fencing club. The role involves coaching pupils of all experience levels, managing attendance, and assisting at competitions. Candidates should possess a Level 2 coaching qualification from British Fencing and have significant experience with young athletes. This zero-hours position offers an hourly rate of £27, starting in January 2026.
Winchester College's Sports Department offers an outstanding and varied programme of physical activity. The College is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Fencing Coach to support the delivery of an enjoyable, safe, and progressive fencing club. This role involves coaching pupils across all levels of experience, from novices to competitive athletes, in conjunction with the Lead Fencing Coach and the Master‑in‑charge (M/ic) of Fencing.
The Fencing Coach works within the Sports Department, assisting the Lead Fencing Coach and M/ic Fencing to manage and develop the Fencing club.
We are looking for a highly qualified coach with significant experience working with young athletes and a deep understanding of competitive fencing and athlete development.
