Overview

We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to join our team in Gainsborough, providing 1:1 care to a vibrant individual living with Autism, ADHD, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD). This individual is sociable, creative, and loves to keep active. Her favourite activities include:

  • Walking her dog
  • Shopping and catching up with friends in coffee shops
Responsibilities
  • Providing consistent 1:1 person-centred care
  • Prompting and supporting with medication
  • Supporting personal hygiene and daily routines
  • Using positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
  • Accompanying and assisting with activities and social outings
  • Helping care for her beloved pet dog
Qualifications
  • Female (Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010)
  • Full UK Driver's Licence & be willing to use your own vehicle to drive the person we support
  • Confident working independently
  • Experience with mental health support, particularly self-harm, is essential
  • Background in Autism, ADHD, and supporting challenging behaviours is desirable
