Job summary

A community support organization is seeking dedicated individuals to provide personal care and support to young adults in a semi-independent community home near Shrewsbury. This role involves promoting inclusion for individuals with disabilities and engaging residents in various activities. Qualifications

Job Details

Female only Full & Part-Time posts (37.5 hours per week)

£12.39 per hour; plus £189 for sleep duties (based on 3 per month)

Joining bonus £1000 (T&C's £500 on completion of probation, £500 on completion of 12 months)

Job Overview

An opportunity to support young adults in a semi‑independent community home, approximately seven miles south of Shrewsbury. The role involves providing personal care, promoting inclusion of people with autism, learning and physical disabilities, engaging in community activities and supporting residents to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to young adults
  • Promote inclusion of people with autism, learning and physical disabilities
  • Engage in the wider community
  • Support residents in various activities such as pub lunches, bingo, baking, drama, Zumba, Tae‑Kwon‑Do, BBQs, cycling, and Nintendo games
  • Assist with daily living skills and promote independence
  • Maintain communication with families and provide regular updates

Essential Requirements
