Overview

Cover People are actively looking for a full-time PE Teacher or sports coaches with UK-based experience working with children, preferably aged 11-16. The ideal candidate should have at least a relevant degree (BSc or MSc) OR coaching badges with recent experience. The role is teaching KS3 PE on a long-term basis in a Good rated secondary school in the heart of Rochdale to cover a broad range of sports including football, rugby, softball, athletics and basketball. The school is often complimented for being a community-led school, offering support to families to give disadvantaged children a fair chance to achieve.

The role is available to start this week to discuss the opportunity with the school.

Responsibilities
  • Teach KS3 Physical Education to students (ages 11–16) across a broad range of sports including football, rugby, softball, athletics and basketball.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that support pupil progress and well-being.
  • Support department and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Degree related to sports/PE or coaching equivalent.
  • Recent experience teaching or coaching in sport.
