A leading aerospace and defence organization is seeking a Structures Stress Engineer for a 12-month contract in Samlesbury. The role involves working on the F35 programme, focusing on stress analysis and validation tasks in a team environment. Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of stress analysis methods and Finite Element Analysis, with experience in Catia Design preferred. Qualifications

Rate

£65.75 per hour inside / Umbrella

The role
  • Structures Engineers are required to work on the F35 programme, across a variety of roles ranging from analysing design changes, validating analysis from test results, supporting clearance of non-conformances in the shop floor and supporting clearance of in‑service repairs.
  • The Structures Engineers will work as part of teams consisting of two or more Engineers, focussing on specific tasks in support of the F35 programme.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of a variety of stress analysis methods, applied to lightweight airframe structure is essential.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis is desirable.
  • Catia Design.
