Family Time Worker

Are you a passionate Family Time Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Family Time Worker to work in a service based in Bolton.

Pay Rates: £16.43 - £20.83 Umbrella Rate

Information the Role: Successful candidates will be offered 37.5 hours per week.

What you will be doing:

• Contribute to risk assessments and protecting children and young people from danger, harm, and abuse.
• Plan and record interventions effectively, and support and contribute to the overall assessment held by referring social care teams.
• Deliver quality interventions within the Framework for Action parenting capacity guidance.
• Offer support and evidence‑based intervention around child development using EYFS guidance and behaviour management strategies.
• Work in partnership with families on protection plans in their own home, where appropriate.
• Communicate and work with a range of professionals and agencies ensuring a seamless service for children and families, managing, and providing information to support effective decision-making.
• Work alongside social workers contributing to assessments and care plans.
• Escort children and families as appropriate.
• Manage a case load effectively, delivering and reporting on agreed work tasks.
• Support, mentor and supervise students and volunteers across a range of service delivery.
• Any other duties in line with the post, which may be required from time to time.

Skills & Professional Characteristics needed:

• Experience of working in a multi‑agency environment or team.
• Experience of supporting families in using services within the community and in maintaining social relationships.
• Experience of working with children and families support services provided by organisations and agencies across the Borough.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant level 3 qualification e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC, Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Youth and Community Studies.
• Full UK Licence.
