A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to join the North Bedfordshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. This role focuses on adolescents with complex mental health challenges, providing therapeutic interventions and family support. We are looking for someonewho is an experienced Family & Systemic Psychotherapistwith a substantial knowledge in the field of child and adolescent mental healthand who is confident working withadolescent mental health and crisis/risk management.

As the successfulcandidateyouwouldreceive a robust induction program, regular clinical and management supervision to support you in therole.You would be invited to a regular countywide forum for family & systemic therapist'sso that you can develop andmaintainlinks with other family psychotherapist'sworking across a range of teams and benefit from the shared learning from presentations by colleagues.

The successful applicant willbe located within our North Bedfordshire clinicworking withfamilies with specific emphasis on adolescents with complex, severe and enduring mental health problems.This varied role willinclude the provision ofspecialist advice/consultation/ formulation,family therapy/systemicassessment, liaison with other agencies, systemicinterventions, clinical supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
This post is based in Bedford, Bedfordshire, close to the M1 and easily reached by rail and car from North London, Hertfordshire,BuckinghamshireandNorthamptonshire.The clinic also has the added benefit of freeparkingand all clinicians are supported by very dedicated and efficient administrative staff. Whilst some of the work is based in the clinic, access to a car is essential as some travel will berequiredto undertake outreach support at home or other CAMHS/ multi-agency sites.
