Keir Hardie Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate, experienced and qualified Family Support Worker to join our team.
The successful candidate will support the development of families' capacity, resilience and independence by helping parents build strong positive relationships and access the right support at the right time. You will provide direct support to families through outreach, home visits and group work within the ethos and vision of Keir Hardie Primary School and the wider Childrens Centre framework. You will need to be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively and sensitively across our neighbourhood, and remain professional at all times with a particular awareness of confidentiality.
Good communication skills, excellent record‑keeping and teamwork are essential.
This position will be based at Keir Hardie Children’s Centre, which works in collaboration with Edith Kerrison Nursery School and the Children’s Centre as part of the Canning Town and Custom House Neighbourhood.
