Qualifications

Responsibilities

Family Hub Coach
Location: Staffordshire (roles available in Newcastle-under-Lyme & East Staffordshire)
Pay: £18.51 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract: 08/10/2025 – 31/03/2026 (with potential extension)

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting two Family Hub Coaches to join Staffordshire’s local community hubs. This rewarding role focuses on providing direct financial wellbeing support to residents and helping households access the right services at the right time.

The Role

As a Family Hub Coach, you will:

Deliver emergency, drop-in support to vulnerable households on financial wellbeing issues.

Provide tailored 1-to-1 advice on budgeting, entitlements, and access to local and national resources.

Proactively identify residents in need and link them with appropriate services.

Maintain an up-to-date directory of available support options.

Keep clear and accurate records to evidence outcomes and progress.

Attend local events alongside partner organisations to raise awareness of support services.

Make referrals into other services where appropriate.

Requirements

Experience supporting vulnerable individuals, with sound safeguarding knowledge.

Strong understanding of financial wellbeing, entitlements, and budgeting.

Excellent organisational, planning, and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work confidently and independently within a community-based setting.

Willingness to work fully on-site (this is not a hybrid role).
