What you’ll be doing:

The role will initially involve running a wide ranging privately funded family law caseload including children matters, with a view to establishing and growing a Childcare Department once a Legal Aid contract has been awarded.

  • Running your own caseload of family law matters from start to finish including divorce and separation, finance and property, children arrangements, pre‑nuptial agreements, domestic violence and cohabitation matters
  • Conducting own advocacy
  • Working as part of a well‑established, experienced family law team with an excellent client following and reputation
  • Establishing, building and growing the Department to encompass legal aid work in the longer term
Who we’re looking for:

Suitable candidates are likely to have:

  • Law Society's Children Law Accreditation
  • Experience of running both private and public family law matters
  • Fully qualified solicitor status or CLE status with practice rights
  • Mediation experience preferred
  • Excellent client care skills
