Overview

We have an excellent long term opportunities to work for a family run Engineering company based in the centre of the Medway Towns.

Responsibilities

• You will initially be starting as a general Operative, assisting the machine operators fetching products, loading them and unloading them onto the machines, moving goods around the site, clearing up and general ad-hoc duties.
• You will however be trained after a while on the various laser cutting machines that they have, offering you a great opportunity to develop in the role.

Requirements

• This is a physical role that will include some heavy lifting and you must be able to carry out physical work.
• Previous experience is not essential, however you must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.
• If you have previous Machine operating experience this will be an advantage.

Hours and Contract

The hours of work are 6.00am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday and 2 in 4 Saturday mornings for the Day Shifts, and 5.00pm - 2.00am Monday to Friday on the Night Shifts. There is also guaranteed overtime with any hours over 40 hours per week paid at time and a half. The position is initially on a Temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent.
