Job description

St Leonard's Hospice are recruiting a skilled and motivated person to join the Hospice's Team as a Facilities Assistant. The Facilities Team performs a crucial function in ensuring the Hospice estate, including Retail, are kept safe with servicing, maintenance and repairs completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic maintenance, DIY and painting tasks
  • Undertake pre‑planned maintenance
  • Portering duties, including some manual handling
  • Transport patients and staff to appointments

By doing this role, you will meet and work with a range of colleagues across the organisation and genuinely be making a significant contribution.

This is a full‑time position working 37.5 hours per week between 8am‑4pm, Monday to Friday, and there will be a requirement to be part of the facilities on‑call rota.
