Facades Construction Site Manager – Manchester

Are you an experienced Facades Construction Site Manager looking to take the lead on high-profile projects in the North West? Our client – a well-established specialist subcontractor – is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven professional to join their team.

The Role

As a Facades Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the façade works on-site – managing subcontractors, ensuring programme deadlines are met, and maintaining top-tier health & safety standards. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Site Teams, and Commercial staff to deliver cladding and façade systems from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day façade installation works on-site
• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure quality standards are upheld
• Monitor project timelines and drive progress to meet deadlines
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
• Liaise with design, procurement, and commercial teams
• Report progress to senior management and attend site meetings
• Problem-solve site challenges in real-time and coordinate solutions

Experience & Requirements

• Proven track record in façade / cladding construction management
• Experience working with rainscreen systems, curtain walling, or external envelope packages
• Strong understanding of health & safety and QA processes
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid qualifications
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
