Job description

We are looking for a Fabricator to join a food production business in North Lincolnshire. Working within a fast-paced food production environment, this role involves hands‑on fabrication and welding work to support daily operations, preventative maintenance, and project-based engineering improvements. This role is based on a Monday to Friday pattern.

You’ll be part of a close‑knit team committed to keeping production running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out day‑to‑day welding and fabrication tasks to support engineering and production teams
  • Assisting with breakdown response and corrective maintenance as required
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications to complete jobs to high standards
  • Contributing to maintenance plans and engineering improvement projects
  • Working safely and effectively with a range of tools, metals, and machinery
Requirements
  • Competent in TIG, MIG, and ARC welding techniques
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering and how systems operate in an industrial setting
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Either time‑served in an engineering apprenticeship or holding relevant welding/fabrication qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience with fabrication workshop tools and equipment
