Job description

Our client specialises in shipbuilding, vessel repair, and marine engineering across various markets with locations across the UK. The Fabrication Foreman will be responsible for overseeing welding/fabrication activities, managing a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with project managers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Proven experience in fabrication and metalwork
  • SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience (or strong potential to lead)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Welding or fabrication certifications (preferred)
  • Experience within the marine or shipbuilding industry (advantageous)
  • A positive, team-focused, can-do attitude
