A leading consultancy firm is seeking a chartered quantity surveyor or engineer with over 10 years of experience to join their disputes team. This position involves supporting dispute avoidance and management services, analyzing contractual claims, and advising project teams. Ideal candidates will possess MRICS or MCIArb accreditation, with a strong understanding of alternative dispute resolution methods and excellent client-facing communication skills. This role offers opportunities for career progression and is based in the UK.
Currie & Brown’s disputes team is a key part of its specialist services and has been identified as an area of targeted growth. The team is based in London, but this role can be based at any of our UK offices. The chosen candidate will support in the delivery of dispute avoidance, management, and resolution services, particularly in relation to quantum opinion and contractual advice, dealing with all aspects of delay and disruption matters in connection with projects and working closely with the unit director and other parts of the business, as well as maintaining and developing their own client base.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a chartered quantity surveyor or engineer, with experience and / or an interest in disputes services. The role will cover the full spectrum of dispute resolution services, including adjudication, mediation, litigation, arbitration, and general contract advisory services in supporting the UK business units. Ideally, the candidate will have working knowledge of litigation and arbitration procedures.
