Bothan Jura Retreat is recruiting an experienced housekeeper to support its small, family‑run self‑catering business on the Isle of Jura. This is a trusted, independent role for someone who can take ownership of day‑to‑day operations in a remote island setting.

The role

• You will manage changeovers for four high‑quality self‑catering properties.
• You will maintain consistently high, immaculate presentation standards for guests.
• You will oversee stock management, hot tubs and sauna, and light gardening.
• You will work proactively, identifying issues and dealing with them independently.
• You will provide occasional cover on Islay when required, with a vehicle provided.

Working pattern

This is a permanent, year‑round position. Hours are typically around 30 per week during the main season and around 20 per week over winter. The role is advertised initially for the 2026 season, with the intention of a long‑term arrangement if it proves a good fit for both sides.
