Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and growth of HHQI as a premier institute for healthcare quality, improvement science, and patient safety.
- Oversee the design and delivery of training programs in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical leadership for healthcare professionals at all levels.
- Drive system-wide implementation of evidence-based quality initiatives and improvement collaboratives.
- Forge and maintain international partnerships to enhance HHQI’s global reach and learning network.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance for national initiatives aligned with HMC’s quality and safety objectives.
- Ensure integration of data analytics, digital solutions, and global best practices into quality improvement methodologies.
- Represent HHQI at local, regional, and international forums and lead national dialogue on quality and safety.

Required Skills and Experience
Strategic Leadership & Program Development
Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive role
Quality & Patient Safety Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare quality improvement, patient safety, and value-based care. Familiarity with international quality standards (IHI, JCI, ISQua, WHO) and accreditation frameworks.
- Experience leading quality and safety initiatives across multiple facilities or national systems.
Capacity Building
- Proven ability to develop and deliver multitiered training programs in quality improvement, patient safety, and leadership.
- Experience in curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and running improvement collaboratives and national quality campaigns.
- International & Multisectoral Collaboration
- History of building strategic partnerships and networks with global health organizations and academic institutions.
- Proven ability to position an institute on the international stage and facilitate cross-border knowledge exchange.
Change Leadership & Innovation
- Expertise in leading transformational change and embedding a culture of continuous improvement within complex systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare digital innovation, including quality dashboards, decision support tools, and digital learning platforms.
