Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (1 week on/1 week off), 5 Day Week with Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office and Monday and Friday working from home

About the role

We\'re looking for a proactive, highly organised Executive Assistant to be the CEO\'s strategic right hand. This is not your typical support role - you\'ll be an integral part of running and scaling the business, driving clarity and execution every step of the way.

Are You the Kind of Person Who...

  • Brings calm to chaos, loves creating structure, and spots problems before others realise they exist.
  • Keeps multiple plates spinning while improving how they spin.
  • Thrives on autonomy, clarity, and solving real problems without fluff.

What We\'re Looking For

We\'re not after a traditional PA. You\'re a strategic operator who partners with the CEO to run the business better, smarter, faster. You\'re exceptionally organised, detail-focused yet big-picture aware, and confident working solo, managing up, and collaborating across clients, suppliers, and team.

About Us

We\'re The Procurement Group - a specialist cost consultancy. Small team. Big responsibility. Zero fluff. For 20+ years we\'ve helped clients control costs intelligently. Now we\'re scaling, both in the UK and internationally. You\'ll be the person who keeps the business flowing while the founder focuses on scaling - a critical, hands-on role with real impact.

Responsibilities
  • Own the CEO\'s workflow - calendar, inbox, task priorities.
  • Ensure meeting actions (yours and theirs) are followed up and executed.
  • Keep projects moving: report progress, blockers, and what\'s next.
  • Manage contracts, savings schedules, renewals, and internal documents.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, agendas, and reports for client/internal meetings.
  • Be the point of contact for suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Learn, document, and refine our processes, proactively improving how we work.
  • Be in the office 3 days a week, working side-by-side with the CEO.
Working in a micro business
  • You\'ll see the impact of your work every day - we all muck in.
  • You\'ll shape how we scale by improving how we work.
  • You\'ll build systems that make growth sustainable, working closely with decision-makers.
Benefits / What You\'ll Love
  • Enjoy variety, autonomy, and responsibility.
  • Get satisfaction from making things run smoothly.
  • Want your work to matter and your voice to count.
  • Appreciate a week-on / week-off rhythm for real balance.
Candidate Fit
  • You Might Struggle If You...
  • Need constant direction or hand-holding.
  • Prefer a corporate structure with separate departments.
  • Don\'t enjoy fast-paced, hands-on environments.
