Overview

A part-time Nanny Housekeeper opportunity near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Caring and reliable individual needed to care for two children aged 5 and 8.

Responsibilities

• Nanny duties: collect the children from school, transport to extracurricular activities, support their after-school routine with snacks, playtime, reading and homework help, and oversee mealtimes and bedtime routines.
• Plan daily activities that are fun and stimulating.
• Housekeeping duties: bedmaking, wardrobe management, laundry (including ironing), and other essential tasks to keep the home running smoothly.
• Drive as required: you must have a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car; mileage for duties will be reimbursed.

Location and Schedule

Location: rural setting south of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Hours: 12pm – 8pm. Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 2 years’ experience in childcare.
• Training: 12 hour Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS (update).
• Qualifications: Level 3 Childcare preferred.
• Driving: required; driver with own car.
• Pets in home: a friendly dog.

Pay and Status

Pay: £20 gross per hour, £24,960.00 gross per annum.
