Events Sous Chef
National Theatre, South Bank
£42,000 | 40 hours | Permanent
At NT Food & Drink, we’re not just another kitchen - we’re a collaboration between Levy and KERB, rooted in the heart of the National Theatre. This is a space where food, craft, culture, and creativity all meet. Our ambition is simple : to create unforgettable food moments that enhance the magic of one of the world’s most iconic arts venues.
If you’re a chef who loves to cook with flair, thrives on variety, and gets excited by creating an experience (not just a plate), this is your stage.
As our Events Sous Chef, you’ll be right at the beating heart of our events operation — from intimate press nights to large, high-energy commercial events. You’ll bring ideas, technique, and passion to everything you touch.
Working closely with our Head Chef, you’ll help shape menus, elevate flavours, lead the team with confidence, and ensure every guest — whether they’re an artist, donor, audience member, or VIP — feels the care that went into their dish.
More than anything, this is a role for someone who wants to cook creatively, collaborate with great people, and help deliver experiences that people remember.
Our Events Sous Chef is someone who lives and breathes food :
Levy is the team behind world‑class food experiences at iconic venues like Wimbledon, Tottenham Hotspur, and Twickenham. We’re big on sustainability, big on people, and committed to reaching Net Zero by 2027. We partner with the British Paralympic Association and ensure all our teams earn at least Real Living Wage or London Living Wage.
We’re building a team where individuality is celebrated, creativity thrives, and everyone has a voice. You’ll be supported, encouraged, and given the freedom to grow — because great hospitality starts with great people.
We welcome applications to our Events Sous Chef vacancy from chefs of all backgrounds. All we ask is that you bring passion, craft, and a genuine love for making people happy through food.
