About the Role

At The Tempest Arms in Skipton, part of the family‑run Robinsons Brewery, we’re looking for an organised, confident, and passionate Events Manager to take full ownership of our events offering across our beautiful function room, restaurant spaces, and outdoor areas.

This role is ideal for:

  • An events specialist who wants to run exceptional weddings, celebrations, corporate gatherings, and seasonal events, or
  • A hospitality manager with events experience who enjoys getting involved with the pub team when needed.
What You’ll Do

As our Events Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind every event—from the first enquiry to the final farewell. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Handling all client communications and tailoring packages to their needs
  • Coordinating logistics, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Overseeing events on the day, leading from the front
  • Managing timelines and ensuring every detail runs smoothly
  • Supporting the pub team during quieter periods if the role develops into a dual position

This is a hands‑on role where hosting, organisation, and genuine hospitality come together.
