About the Role

We are seeking experienced and professional EV Auditors to join a growing nationwide team supporting the rollout of high-quality electric vehicle (EV) charging installations across the UK.

This full‑time role involves carrying out audits of EV charging systems to ensure all installations meet the required technical, safety, and compliance standards. The role includes a combination of on‑site work in progress audits, post‑completion inspections, and desktop reviews.

The ideal candidate will be an electrically qualified professional with strong EV and compliance experience, an eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards across all installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field and desktop audits of EV charging installations to verify compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Review work in progress and completed installations, ensuring they meet internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and recommendations for improvement to installation teams.
  • Prepare accurate audit reports and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Identify trends or recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the compliance and operations teams to uphold best practices and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are consistently maintained.
  • Travel across assigned regions, with occasional overnight stays as required.
Professional and Personal Attributes
  • Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, AM2, 18th Edition or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and power systems.
  • Previous experience in EV charging system installation, operation, or auditing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear feedback.
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider compliance team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and digital reporting tools.
  • Professional registration with a recognised engineering body (desirable).
  • Three‑phase and Dual Fuel metering experience advantageous.
  • PV (solar) experience beneficial.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide.
