Estimator - Fit Out & Refurbishment

About the Company

An established, high-quality fit out and refurbishment contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their London-based commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator who enjoys working on premium CAT A and CAT B projects and wants long-term stability within a collaborative and well-structured business.

Delivering projects across commercial workplaces, hospitality, retail, and heritage buildings, this role offers exposure to technically detailed schemes with high design standards and repeat blue-chip clients.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role from early engagement through to tender submission, supporting projects typically ranging from £1m to £50m. Working closely with pre-construction, commercial, and delivery teams, the Estimator will contribute to accurate, competitive, and well-considered tenders.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost plans and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Producing take-offs for fit out and refurbishment projects
• Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
• Assessing risk, value engineering, and commercial opportunities
• Supporting design and build tender processes
• Working collaboratively with internal commercial teams
• Maintaining tender documentation and pricing schedules

About You

• Proven experience as an Estimator within fit out or refurbishment
• Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B commercial projects
• Confident producing accurate cost plans and tenders
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working on multiple tenders concurrently
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
