Estimator - Residential Groundworks

Permanent Role | £60,000 - £80,000 + Benefits

Location: Leicester (Hybrid Working Potential)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established and growing Leicester-based Residential Groundworks contractor. Due to continued business growth and a strong pipeline of negotiated and competitive tenders, the company is looking to strengthen its Pre-Construction team. This position offers genuine career progression, long-term stability, and the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of residential developments across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyse drawings, specifications, and schedules to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Produce detailed tenders from initial enquiry through to contract award
• Prepare and submit full tender documentation
• Present cost plans and estimates to senior management
• Liaise with internal teams and the supply chain to ensure competitive and accurate pricing

Requirements

• Proven experience estimating Residential Groundworks projects (essential)
• Previous experience in a Pre-Construction or Estimating rol
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost control
• Ability to commute to the Leicester area
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
