A well established housing developer is looking for an Estimator to join their team in Rochdale.
To assess and estimate all costs associated with land acquisition, including purchase price, legal fees, site preparation, environmental considerations, topography, site conditions and related expenses.
Stay informed on local regulations to ensure accurate pricing and cost estimates while analysing comparable land sales and development projects to assess market conditions and land values.
Visit proposed sites to identify constraints and other factors that may influence the pricing strategy.
Work with the finance team to ensure land cost estimates align with overall project budgets and financial forecasts.
A relevant qualification or significant experience in land viability / appraisal, cost estimating, or commercial / groundworks roles within the residential homebuilding sector.
Knowledge of Bluebeam or equivalent.
Experience of using COINS beneficial but not essential.
Full UK driving licence.
