A community healthcare provider in Bognor Regis seeks a maintenance specialist responsible for the reliability of building maintenance and systems. The role includes managing compliance and maintenance of infrastructure and grounds. Applicants should have experience in building maintenance and safety regulations. As maintenance specialist, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of building maintenance, engineering infrastructure, systems and equipment. This will include the guidance and support to Estates operatives to ensure compliance with legislation, local policy and best practice. The postholder will also be responsible for managing the upkeep of the Estates Grounds and Gardens. The post holder will be accountable to the Head of Estates Operations, for areas of responsibility including Lifting Equipment Regulations, Low Voltage Electrical Safety, Medical Gases, Critical Ventilation, Legionella and Water Systems, assuming the responsibilities of the authorised person’s roles.
