All within a large, independent mixed practice with a proud 40-year heritage.

The Role

The successful candidate will work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, whether out on the road or at the on‑site Equine Clinic. Facilities include digital radiography, gastroscopy, ultrasound, video endoscopy, and both surgical and therapeutic lasers.

The caseload is varied—sports horses, racing yards, studs, and pleasure horses—while ARVS‑qualified vets will also have the opportunity to undertake racing work.

Clinical autonomy is encouraged, enabling each vet to build their own caseload and client relationships. At the same time, the wider team provides strong mentorship and a culture that supports continuous learning, including certificates and tailored CPD.

Culture & Values

Collaboration sits at the heart of the practice. A psychologically safe working environment is nurtured through regular M&M rounds and Vetsafe, fostering open discussion and shared learning.

Vets who are proactive, sociable, curious, and ambitious will thrive in this close‑knot, supportive team.

What They’re Looking For
  • At least 2 years’ equine experience
  • An interest in stud work (advantageous but not essential)
  • A full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • A positive, team‑focused mindset with enthusiasm for ongoing development
